Being part of the SIAM community, members of our chapter and in particular of our board regularly participate in SIAM conferences, annual meetings and gatherings of SIAM Student Chapters.

Probably the largest of these events is the SIAM Annual Meeting. As a student chapter, we receive funding support to send one official representative to these meetings. In the past, representatives of our chapter participated in the SIAM Annual Meetings in Spokane 2019, Portland 2018 and Pittsburgh 2017.

In addition to that, there are often Symposia and Workshops organized by and for SIAM Student Chapters themselves. See here for such symposia that were organized on a German level, and here for those organized on a European level.
