Regular Lunch Breaks

Heidelberg, Every first Wednesday of the month

We are planning to start a series of casual lunch meetups for Master’s and PhD students in Heidelberg. The idea is simple: bring your own lunch, drop by, and connect with others in a relaxed setting. A great opportunity to take a break, share ideas, and meet fellow researchers and students across departments.

In Wintersemester 2025/26 we will meet at 1pm in the Common Room in Mathematikon (5th floor) at the following dates

• 04. February

Field Trip to Schwarz IT

Third week of November, Heilbronn, 2025

We are planning a field trip to Schwarz IT in Heilbronn. This visit will offer a look into one of the most influential IT service providers in Europe, part of the Schwarz Group (Lidl, Kaufland). The trip will happening in the week between 17th and 21st of November (exacte day tbd). 

On site we will have the opportunity to meet a mathematition working with them, do a case study and learn something about the company. Further details, including a comprehensive agenda, will be shared soon.
