MESIGA25: Numerical Methods in Applied Mathematics
Rooted in applied mathematics, numerical methods play a pivotal role for addressing complex real-world problems. They provide adaptable frameworks for simulating, optimizing, and understanding systems across disciplines such as engineering, data science, economics, and environmental science.
This conference provides a supportive and collaborative platform for young researchers to share their work, learn from established experts, and engage in insightful discussions about the latest trends and challenges in numerical methods. The scope covers a diverse range of topics, including data assimilation, modeling and simulation techniques, optimization methods, partial differential equations, machine learning, and numerical analysis. The sessions will highlight both the theoretical foundations and computational applications.
SIAM & GAMM Student Chapter Merger Event

We are happy to announce that the the Heidelber University SIAM Student Chapter has successfully applied to als become a recognized GAMM Student Chapter.
You don't know the GAMM (Gesellschaft für Angewante Mathematik & Mechanik e.V.) yet? Or you have been on and off looking to participate in some post-grad structure? Come join us for our big Kick-Off event in early May.
