Join us for an inspiring gathering of young researchers at the forefront of Mathematical Models and Methods in the Sciences & Engineering (3MSE). MESIGA27, the next iteration of the Meeting of the European SIAM and GAMM chapters, brings together PhD students and leading experts to explore the latest advancements in stochastic modeling, optimization, uncertainty quantification, data assimilation, mathematical biology, and computational mathematics.
We look forward to welcoming you in Heidelberg to present your research, exchange ideas with peers and experts, and create a lasting network of fellow PhD students and established researchers. Discover exciting interdisciplinary connections between mathematics, engineering, and empirical sciences.

Registration for the conference is free, there is no conference fee! Please note however, that while we will provide coffee breaks, we cannot cover lunch or a conference dinner.
Call for abstracts
We invite submissions from all areas of applied mathematics, stochastic and mathematical modeling, and computational methods in sciences & engineering. Both talks and posters can be contributed to the conference. Please indicate your contribution in the registration form.
Abstracts should be submitted by 15.12.2026 via email to siam.chapter@uni-heidelberg.de.

The conference is open to early career scientists, especially all members of the SIAM and GAMM student chapters. We welcome everyone from late master students, doctoral students to early postdocs.
